PRIVACY POLICY

Short version: we collect almost nothing, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to run a news site. That means anonymous usage statistics such as pages viewed and rough region, the email address you give us if you subscribe to the newsletter, and any information you choose to send when you contact us.

We do not ask for payment details, we do not track you across other sites, and we do not build advertising profiles of individual readers.

How we use it

Usage data tells us which stories are useful so we can improve them. Your email is used only to send the briefing you asked for, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

We use a small number of trusted processors, such as an email delivery provider and a hosting provider, who may handle data on our behalf under contract. We never sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one business day.

If you are in a region with specific privacy law such as the GDPR or CCPA, you have additional rights including objection and portability, and we honour those requests in the same way.

Sources, corrections and related pages

leroyauyeung holds itself to the same standards across every page. Our About Us page explains how we report and verify, and our Contact Us page is the fastest way to send a correction or ask a question. Where a claim depends on an official record we point to the source, such as Reuters for international coverage or Associated Press for breaking news, so you can verify the facts yourself. We review every page when official guidance changes. If something here is unclear, out of date or simply wrong, tell us and we will fix it, because a policy that no one can act on helps no one.
