ABOUT US
Learn who is behind leroyauyeung, the editorial standards we follow and how our newsroom reports, corrects and updates the stories you read every day.
Who we are
leroyauyeung is an independent general news publication built for readers who want the day explained without the noise. We cover headlines, world events, public affairs, social change and breaking stories with one aim: give you the facts first, then the context that makes them useful.
We are not a wire service, a lobby group or a sponsored feed. We fund the site through ordinary display advertising and reader support, and we never trade a story's accuracy for a headline that travels faster.
Our mission
News has become loud and fragmented. The same event arrives as a push alert, a viral clip and three contradictory summaries before lunch. Our mission is to slow that down just enough to be useful: what happened, what is confirmed, what is still unknown and why it matters to you.
Every article is written to be finished, not skimmed. If you arrive with a question about a budget vote, a treaty or a transport change, you should leave knowing where things stand and what happens next.
Editorial standards
We verify before we publish. Claims are checked against primary documents, official statements and at least one independent source wherever possible. When a figure is uncertain we say so, and when a story is developing we label it clearly and timestamp every update.
Corrections matter more than pride. If we get something wrong we fix it, note what changed and explain why. Sponsored content, where it appears at all, is labelled and never influences our reporting.
The newsroom
Our small team mixes reporters, editors and researchers who have covered local councils, international trade and community affairs. That range matters: a budget line and a neighbourhood meeting are often the same story seen from different ends.
We work remotely and publish around the clock when events demand it. Breaking coverage is staffed in shifts so that speed never becomes an excuse to skip verification.
Talk to us
Questions, corrections and story tips are always welcome. Email [email protected] and we aim to reply within one business day.
We read everything, even when we cannot answer every message individually. If you spot an error, tell us the page and the detail and we will investigate.
Sources, corrections and related pages
leroyauyeung holds itself to the same standards across every page. Our About Us page explains how we report and verify, and our Contact Us page is the fastest way to send a correction or ask a question. Where a claim depends on an official record we point to the source, such as Reuters for international coverage or Associated Press for breaking news, so you can verify the facts yourself. We review every page when official guidance changes. If something here is unclear, out of date or simply wrong, tell us and we will fix it, because a policy that no one can act on helps no one.
